Krystal Duarte, Dough Pizzeria Napoletana

Dough Pizzeria Napoletana is a welcomed newcomer to the Kinsman Brandy Alexander Tour this year.

Known for its authentic Neapolitan pizzas, Dough is the kind of place that combines Italian tradition with local flair. With farm-fresh ingredients and true Neapolitan techniques, this cozy spot brings you more than just great pizza; it’s a full culinary experience. And thanks to Krystal Duarte, they’re taking things to the next level with drinks that pair perfectly with every bite.

Krystal, a California transplant who's been calling San Antonio home since 8th grade, is a beer enthusiast with a passion for homebrewing and a soft spot for IPAs. Her love for the outdoors is evident in her free time, where she can be found hiking, soaking up the sun at the beach, or tending to her garden. And, fun fact: she's a sucker for naming her pets after foods – her cat is Mango, and her yellow lab is Maple!

Now, onto the main event – the Pistachio Royale! This showstopper features white chocolate fat washed Kinsman Rakia, housemade pistachio orgeat, heavy whipping cream, Bols Cacao White Liqueur, and Amaro Nardini. The combination of flavors is nothing short of magic, with the pistachio orgeat adding a delightful nutty flavor and rich, creamy texture. The amaro adds a subtle bitterness and depth, balancing out the white chocolate sweetness. And let's not forget the garnish – a crunchy, house-made pistachio brittle that adds a satisfying crunch to each sip.

If you’re looking for something that feels like a little indulgence in a glass, Krystal’s Pistachio Royale is exactly what you need. Visit either Dough location and dive into this fun take on the Brandy Alexander now through NYE.
