Barkeep Jordan Hill and Pastry Chef Delaney Dennis, Signature

If you’ve ever wondered what happens when you mix a talented pastry chef, a creative bartender, and a love for chocolate-covered almonds, the answer is: Call Me Al. Signature, known for its mouthwatering, modern spins on classic dishes, is now raising the bar (pun intended) with its entry into the Kinsman Brandy Alexander Tour.

Barkeep Jordan Hill and Pastry Chef Delaney Dennis are the brilliant minds behind this spin on the classic dessert cocktail. Jordan comes to us from Oakland, California, and made her way to San Antonio in 2021. When she’s not crafting the perfect cocktail, Jordan is living her best life as a mom to a 6-year-old daughter (who misses her grandmother terribly) and dreaming of a big adventure in Brazil. Delaney is a CIA (Culinary Institute of America) graduate from the class of 2018. Originally from San Antonio, Delaney has a passion for baking that’s all about making people happy. Fun fact: Before she was creating beautiful cookies, she was a percussionist in high school.

The cocktail is aptly named Call Me Al, a tribute to the sweet, nutty allure of chocolate-covered almonds and is a decadent mix of Amaretto, Licor 43, heavy cream, and a house-made spiced molasses that gives it a smooth richness. But wait, the fun doesn’t stop there. To top it all off, Delaney has created a spiced almond shortbread cookie (maple leaf-shaped, of course) to garnish the drink, making it not only delicious but also Instagram-worthy!
